The wine is produced from the Barkan vineyards in Mazkeret Batya and the Dan region. This wine, which is made from 100% Emerald Riesling grapes, is characterized by a light fruity and refreshing taste with a sweet finish.
Yarden Chardonnay is produced solely from grapes grown in the northern Golan Heights, Israel’s coldest winegrowing region. At elevations up to 1,200 meters (3,900 feet), this area consistently produces exceptional Chardonnay fruit. The wine aged for seven month in French oak barrels, of which some 50% were new.
